Hello all. New here and just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Bret. I have a 98 Biesemeyer Jet and live and boat in Yuma Az. I am in the process of installing a new motor and am thinking about making my own rail kit. It looks like the Hi-tech kit is pretty hard to beat though. Any thoughts?
Unless you have "skillzzzzzzz" or just want to make your own custom one-off rail kit I think the price is going to be hard to beat on the Hi-Tech kit. I think the nicest factory made rail kits are the ones made by lightning http://www.boatheaders.com/kits.htm but they are pricey. I didn't know Biesemeyers where built up into the late nineties.
Mine is a 97. Steele Marine in phoenix was making B-boats in the late 90's as a jet and outboard. I have been told the molds may be in Havasu or there abouts
Yep, got mine from Steele also. Not sure where the molds went. There was only a few made that I know of by Steele.

That is a nice kit. I am afraid to see the price. Probably going with Hi-tech.
"cave" here on the boards had a biesemeyer from steel marine and it sunk at saguaro lake. He has some knowledge abouth them as well....

Yup. The hull is awesome. Just the quality sucked. Cost me big time. I Know Floored's history. Great boat. It has my old trailer from my Bies. I believe it was purple. Is steel marine still in business?
