Looking just looking and saw this. Big Q is it going to be hard to insure?

Superboat is a very well built boat
FASTERDAMMIT just finished building a 30'er and seems pretty pleased with it.

Ive read his posts but was wondering how these boats go over well on the WEST coast. Resale is important to me as everybody.

Wonder how long they made that hull. Lines look 80's ish. I figure that would pull down your price since anything out west over 18 months is considered old

Their 24 still looks like that today. They've redesigned all the others begining with the popular 30. I knew somebody that did the Catalina race for years with Superboats 21 powered by a whacker and that boat held up very well. Their bigger stuff uses a liner. One of their attributes is they're 7' wide like Pantera. Makes for a narrow cockpit but the boat cuts through the rough stuff.
I'm West coast and I like their line up but I think I'm in the minority. The are definately an East coast builder. I suspect their resale value out here might not be that great.

From the pics it looks well kept, sweet looking boat. I have an "east coast" offshore boat and im sure resale wouldnt be a problem. My .02

I don't know anything about Superboat, but if you are looking, you should really check out Brand 'A'. It's virtually the same as the Superboat but for $20k less! I went with Brand 'A' and saved myself that $20k and now I laugh at all of the Superboat owners that pass me becasue they spent more for the SAME boat! HA HA HA HA SUCKERS!
For those of you that can't see an obvius attempt at sarcasm about the cheerleaders on here, see this thread (http://www2.***boat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96608) and you'll get an idea at what I'm sayin
