WOW, What happened......
WOW I hope all are ok!!
yikes...hope they're ok, and welcome to HB Earl
Hard to tell....is that a 22 Daytona? Hope everyone is OK and it was just a little bad luck that was the prob and not a collision :frown:
Looks like they may have dipped a sponson or ran ashore???
..they were running pretty hot when I saw 'em...chasing down a big canopied cat and it looked like he hooked a sponson on the big wake from one of the those Laughlin river jet boats.
I saw the driver pop out of the boat, feet in the air..and the boat shutdown a few hundred feet later. Kind of amazing they were just scraped up and really seemed super calm about the whole thing.
We got the boat over to the side before it went totally under... ya, it looked like a mid 20's foot Eliminator cat...nice looking ride.
Really felt for them...hope they read the forums here and we hear from 'em.
Was the owner of the daytona an older couple???? Early 50's?
Boat looks familiar.......
my guess is they were in their later 20's or early 30's...although I thought I overheard that either the ride was new or maybe some of the motor work was new. Maybe they picked it up recently.
...the good news was he was able to talk at all  I have never seem some one unload out of a boat like that before...pretty spooky.
Scary stuff, I love that part of the river.
Is that the owner crying next to the boat?
