I think Dam to Dam Mike's boat is a Mako fast a takes a nice set. And the boat in river rats II video that came apart after hitting a roller at Needles was a Mako. From what I have seen they are laid up light and probably not the best choice for a lake boat.

Bob & I wen't out & looked at that boat.
Looks to be a sound hull. Could probably be cleaned up & be a pretty nice deal.
I think Bob took some measurments on her. I'll get him to chine in.
Let me know the next time you are going to be in the area.

Would it happen to be the "Right Stuff II" or "One Moore Time"???
My buddy sold a Mako awhile back, I think it was 423# Bare if I recall, it replaced a 380# Hull that he blew apart at Ming.
    Those were 2 Sweet Boats!

Jim Ermshar owned the Mako mold back in the 80's and his Ivory Hunter held the BGF record for a time. The weight of the hull depended on the class it was built for. The Mako had a longer deck and less interior space than a Cole/Canyon/Hondo. If you were considering back to back buckets for a lake boat, it will be very tight.

"#" meaning "Pounds"...the weight of the Hull.
Both Boats mentioned were Number 369.
