Now really getting to the question.... What pump do I need so I can get 55 gallons of water from a jug into my trailer in a reasonable amount of time (5 minutes or less)? That's about 10 gallons per minute. I think pumps are rated in gallons per hour (GPH) so sounds like you'll need a 600 GPH pump unless my arithmetic's off. The hoses need to be the same size as the pump's fittings, of course, for it to achieve this throughput.
Also, don't forget that you're talking about 900 (110 x 8.3) pounds of extra water (but judging from the tow rig in your signature maybe that's not an issue).
    Good luck!

Learn the joys of being dirty... no pumps required and you use alot less water... :notam:

My camper had an extra fitting on the pump for winterizing. I used to run a longer hose out the side of one the access doors and just run it off that extra hose. The system would keep the pressure so the pump wasnt running all the time and it would just be a secondary water tank.
Dont know if your's has this feature but worth checking.
