Kind of macabre... but the "Not Enuff Food" category is too funny.

    Had to laugh at this:
A COMBINATION OF BARBITUATES AND CHEESEBURGERS:
ELVIS PRESLEY (1977) ("THE KING", AND WHERE WOULD ROCK AND ROLL BE WITHOUT ELVIS??)

MICHAEL HUTCHENCE was put down for hanging (Lead Singer in INXS). They did not say he committed suicide like the others. But they left the autoerotica affixiation - choking yourself while choking the chicken. I keep telling Roz he better not hang himself on accident!!!

Ian Dury, of Ian Dury and the Blockheads...
I saw this guy open one night for Lou Reed at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco. By the time he was done with his encore, it was one of those nights when the headliner should have called in sick and went home. Ian Dury got the crowd all fired up, then everybody wanted to hear "Rock and Roll", "Sweet Jane" and "Heroin". Lou Reed wanted to play the new album.
    It got ugly...

I would have wanted him to reflect on "Rock n Roll Animal".
I could see people getting upset. People don't relate with old bands new stuff.
    Kind of a shame.
As a band member could you imagine playing the same old crap for 30 years.
I guess the Stones do it. But damn that must get old.
Of course that's what brings in the money.
If Lou Reed went on wild west tour playing all his old gigs, I'm sure the crowds would be huge.

Yes these guys are lucky to be alive but they are no longer addicts. They have been clean since the late 80's. Permanent Vacation was their first clean album they recorded with no drug influences. And yes they still crank out some of the best damn Rock n' Roll every.

The classics are great but I love to hear new stuff too. If it's a great band I love to hear stuff that is never on the radio. One of the best Aerosmith concerts I have been to was at the Joint at the Hard Rock in Vegas. Just a little venue where Steven Tyler was practically spitting on you, old obscure tunes, alot less of all the lights and they were just kicking a$$. Cheap trick opened up and that had to have been one of the best opening acts I've seen as well. Damn that was a good night.
