Tired of non-residents getting a big break.
Even residents look like they will have to pay more , at least I think thats what the paperwork said. But seriously Triple?????? The boat only cost me 1700.00 bucks. If I had a brand new ULTRA I could see it but come on.

That's just want I read somewhere. You're right, a $200+ reg on a $1700 boat seems rather exhorbitant. Makes me wonder why you don't register it in CA?
Curently a resident of Nevada for possible Law School pursuits, thus registration in Cali poses a non resident issue. Nevada is gonna cost me 45$ total, one down side though I gotta tow it up there fro LHC.

I guess I'll stick with Delaware. Boats up to 25'11 are $21.50 a year, or $61.50 for 3 years.

I only pay $10 every two years here in CA.

It's based strictly on length. Make, model or value doesn't matter.
