Gettin' ready to install a used hyd. diverter... just looking for any tips beyond the obvious
The gear:
Place Diverter on Berk. 12JC - Rex marine wheel switch and wiring harness - going w/ some "sano" s.s. braided lines and bulkhead fittings (one of the few perks of working in the Aircraft industry)
Imperative that the power to the hydraulic unit gets a full 12 volts of power or it won't function properly. 11.9 don't git it! Straight to the battery, not to the key. The rest is a no-brainer.

Just put a breaker inbetween the diverter power and bat, and you will be fine.

Thats a good idea and it will insure a min of 12v that way and work as a breaker.

Not as far as my insurance co. is concerned! All im sayin' is there's a much cheaper way to do it... sans fire
Oh ya, I sell fire extinguishers too... There's enough Halon 1211 onboard to put out an aircraft carrier :boxed:
