Boat Registration Requirements in Ca??

I have person that interested in my boat and I am wondering what he needs to register the boat in California? I live in Canada and the boat we towed by his friend back to Ca. Anyone know for sure? Please advise me.

Just go to the DMV and bring a FAT check book, and did i say anything about property tax o ya 1% of the value, where is it it going to be used? if its nv or az regester it thier

What paper work do I need to give in order for him to register the boat and trailer? Some states only require a "Bill of Sale" showing the value of the items and the country of manufacture. Is that all that is required for California??
