Most Class A rigs with a tow hitch have a 5,000lb max tow rating, some even have as little as 2500 rating depending on the hitch.

I had until just a few months ago a 89 32ft winnebago 454 5000lb hitch and pulled my 26 Howard with no problems....
Hmm thats it? I was thinking about selling my Bigfoot camper and getting a Motorhome. We have seen the Winnebago Brave A Class I think it was a 26' or so, which is all we want and it looks pretty cool. But if thats all they tow I'm hosed, I am sure the new boat loaded with gas and gear is way more than that. Guess I'll have to cruise on down to the dealer and see what the new ones handle before selling my camper. I am sure your boat is not all that heavy..
Even the new Class A's (non diesel pushers) only have a 5000lb hitch rating, a lot, I mean a lot of people tow way more than that with them but if something were to ever happen in an accident you'd be hosed by your insurance co and the law. We went with a Jayco Seneca HD on the Kodiak 5500 chasis so we could get a higher tow rating and do it right, my family is just too impoartant and I have too much to lose if the worse happened. I have heard of a lot of poeple getting the hitches on the Class A but it's still not truely legal, as the manufacturer doesn't stand behind the upgrades.

My 88 Coachman 31' class A has a 3500 lbs tow rating, but the hitch in the limiting factor. I could tow 5000 lbs and not be overweight on the coach.
What class of hitch do you have??
My boat weighs right around 3000 lbs on the trailer.
dragboat...... My motorhome would have pulled your formula also.... as stated above your just rollling the dice with underated hitch. you have to check manfctrs. towing capabilities and hitch type...... but plenty of power for it.
remember 65 ft max length in calif... the Howards heavier then you think, and with the trailer I was way over 5000lbs
I used to pull my 21' JetBoat with our old 34' RV, Gas 454 motor. Pulled OK, just remember to take it easy on the hill climbsIt will pull them, but can get HOT. To help I installed headers
JBR.... I had a overheating issue at first, but thank god I had the insurance policy for maintenance and for 50 bucks I had a whole new radiator put in and never got hot again even pulling grades in 100 degree weather , granted I slowed to around 50 but what the hell
