Said this guy Ralph (sonny) Dimarco was heavy into racing and held 3 world records at the time. Started building just a few boats each year. My friend has a 75 of which they made 13 and his is #8. Was based out of sylmar.

the dimarco jet came off the Dominator boat, i helped fill sand and straighten the plug boat, they are hand laid and strong, in 1978 i ran 97mph with a all steel 476 cu in single carb chevy, boat was a lite weight 475 lbs, it could have run 100 mph but that was in circle racing gear. Jim
