broken tach

so my tach just stopped working. all the wires are connected and it is still getting electricity. so i think i might just have to get another tach but is there any other way to get it to work? this post is for joekidd

if this is an Autometer tach?...there may be a resister on the back of it inside the cup that may be broken!...also...u can send it to Autometer & they will fix it for darn near nothing...double ck all ur wires for good connections?...just my .02 cents
