How did you get through the porpoise and at what speed did you get it?

The boat would develop a slight porpoise(actually it was more of a bobbing) around 75. It was certainly not a major bounce at all but I thought it could be eliminated. I was shown that trimming the boat out even further then I was used to(but not too much more) was the trick. I was always told not to over-trim a stepped bottom hull so it seems that I was too conservative.
one more time- anyone?
Just curious, why are you selling such a nice boat?
Nice Boat
Just curious, why are you selling such a nice boat?
It's time for me to move on to a little different style of boat as my grandkids are now into the boating stage(Yes, I am a senior citizen). A deck boat is a little more family friendly- easier ingress, egress, and more seating for all the extended family members. I truly love the 2750 but, times and circumstances change, so, thats why the boat is for sale and a deck boat is in my future. Besides, my wife said I should slow down when the kiddies are on board and it will be easier to run slower in a deck boat, maybe.
Thanks,
Tom
