    Good point Sangster.
Most V-Drives ride with hardly any boat in the water. I have seen ski ropes, sand and weeds stop a jet boat in its tracks and make it pretty much useless.

The jetboat shops must love these guys that think shallow is good....At $1,200.00 + to repair a good jet that swallowed a couple feet of the lake bottom because they think or heard it's OK to do..... Yup..They laugh all the way to the bank.....

When you can hear the gravel tickling the bottom of the hull or in V-drive land enough to cover the top of your high tops :rollside:

This would be concidered deep water !!!
I also run in the river here(Bullhead) in less than 12". I was watching people standing in less than knee deep water. But that was not on purpose. No harm no foul.
