Here's my post (http://free.***boat.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000805.html) on picture posting, for reference. http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/happy/happy34.gif The Reader's digest condensed version:
1. From your hard drive, upload the pictures on to a server so that a URL address is assigned. It will take 30 seconds. I use Racing Ray's site (www.highperformancecars.com). Other people have not has good luck with Webshots.
2. Any picture on the web has an address. For your picture, you can find the address by right clicking with your mouse over the picture, and left click on "properties". In the box that appears, copy the "URL (address)". It will always begin with "http" and end with ".jpg".
3. Now paste that address into your post. Preceed it with "", and follow it with "" (except without the quotation marks).
Your image will appear in the post. There are other tricks, like making sure the image is the right size, etc. Also, you can always see how someone else posted something by clicking on "edit" or "quote" on the post...
