It's Official, I just got off the phone with Todd Taylor from Joker's Wild Promotions.
This goes out to everybody that owns/wants/likes/knows/wants to party with some one who owns a tunnel boat or was an aquanitance of one of the victims of the January 11, 2002 HTM tragedy.
As everyone knows I was closely associated with Steve Coulombe and his family not to mention HTM.
While needless to say this is a somber time for all involved, I would like to see a regatta that will beat all regattas and one that mirrors the avarice and zest for boats and life of my late friends and co-workers.
The entire event will be handled by Joker's Wild Promotions which I personally know from past events is a First Class operation. They are doing this at their cost and all proceeds will be donated to the families of the victims!
The tentative dates are June 7th and 8th, 2002. Tickets and merchandise will go on sale well in advance of the event itself we are going to be working out some of the details this weekend in Lake Havasu and I should have more information by next week.
I am hoping that we can have different levels of tickets for people who want to attend without a boat, as people may want to attend just to show their respects to the families and talk about old times.
I will post instructions and further details for the purchase of tickets as we finalize this event... so keep those days open for the party of the year!

We will be there. My ride better be back together by then or I'll be in big trouble with the misses. Since we have a home in Havasu, We don't have any problem making any weekend. We were hoping someone would put together a regatta in their memory. Will have our memorial stickers on our boat and tow vehicle in honor of our lost brothers. Hope to see everyone out there .
