Newbie with a ?

How do you run your V-drive out of water, like in your driveway, to tune or work on the motor???
Just asking, contemplating a purchase of a V but have never thought about that one...

put it in neutral, stick the pick up line in a bucket of water.

I just take off the line that is goes to the pickup and hook a garden hose to it, works great...........( . )( . )...........

Unless you have water in your headers. Use the pump line in a bucket. That way when the Rs come down, so does the water flow to the headers..........MP
