Never had a Hyd. but i do have a manual, so i cant really say which is better. The only bad thing i have heard is that you cant tell which postion the nozzle is in with the hyd. diverter. Your choice ..... Ct

Handles don't have to be in the way. There are other options then to use the bulky Place Craft handle. I use a stringer mount cav plate handle.....Love it!

I use the hydraulic. Get to keep both hands on the wheel, and keep looking foreward.
I put a stop on at the sweet spot, so no guessing. The plastic hoses are a problem.
