Well, I really need to get rid of this thing pretty quick. Have a new boat coming into the stable in the next 8 months - 1 year and this thing has to go.
2005 Carrera 257 Effect X Open Bow. Motor is a fresh 572 that has approximately 5 hours on it since it was torn down, checked out, and put back on the dyno where it made 987h.p. on pump gas. The outdrive has zero hours since it has completely been gone through by the Bravo Shop. All the best hardware available has been put in this boat. Even the lamination schedule is completely custom and we use the best laminates available. Everything on it is just over the top. I have dropped my price down to $80k to get this thing out the door. If you had to build one like this, first good luck, and second it would definitely cost well in excess of $140k. The other beauty of this boat is that it has never been registered so it is considered a new boat so if financing is an issue, that can be handled.
As many of you know, I worked at Carrera for 4 years doing the rigging for 90% of their boats. This was my project boat that it took me over 6 months to complete. I can not tell you how many hours went into the planning and construction of this thing and believe me it shows. It has been reviewed in Car Audio and Electronics for the stereo system and also in Family and Performance Boating. I am going to be very sad to see this thing go, because it has been my baby, but then again, making way for other toys.
If anyone throws anyone my way who is serious and all things work out, I will be more than happy to take care of the referring party. I am also willing to consider letting it go less motor if someone is intersted. Any help in unloading this boat would be greatly appreciated. Someone is going to end up with a killer boat at a steal of a price.
    Danny

I have seen this boat in person, and it is definately over the top. It is a showcase for Danny's rigging ability, and is a very well thought out boat.
Someone is going to get a very , very nice boat.

I have something BIG being worked on right now. That is about a year or more away from being completed. Don't know what I am going to do for the mean time. Might build a Stoker or a party cat for the summer.

For ***boat Members only $75k FIRM turn key. In the trader at $85K. Need to move ASAP. Motor has 5 hours MAX since it was completely rebuilt and dynoed at 987h.p. on pump gas. Outdrive has new lower gears, and was completely gone through by the Bravo Shop. Boat is ready to run!!!
Just got a new boat and going to build another very shortly!
Willing to sell boat less engine (with drive, gimbal, and steering) for $55k FIRM. I will help out and get dealer COST on any Merc products. Get a 496HO sell the drive and gimbal and you should be in this boat for approximately $65K-70K turn key ready to go!
Trust me, this is a killer deal. I need to unload this boat ASAP!!!

Thanks! I can honestly say that I would not change one thing about this boat if I had to do it all over again. I built my dream 25' boat and someone is going to be VERY happy with it.
I am not sure what I am going to do for the next one. Just bought a Stoker so I am probably going to run that one this season. Might go with the new Carrera 32, a 29 Carrera, or another project that I am working on (BIG). That project won't be started until the middle of summer and wouldn't have it until the beginning of next season. If it comes together like I am planning, it will be BAD ASS!!! No matter what, I want my next boat to have twin engines and be setup for Lake Pacific.
Right now, I need the $$$ to keep financing the wooden boat project. Costs a lot of $$$ to get a company off of the ground.
