It is true. Insurance is a killer for a boat like this. That is why I am willing to do the Merc swap out for anyone who is interested. I will do any of the Merc motors at dealer COST and they will have the 1 year warranty.
You are probably looking in the area of $3500 a year with the current setup. :cry:

I think that boat with a 525 would be about perfect!!
85 MPH and a motor that would look good and match the rest of the boat perfect.
