So I get this call the other day....

Hey dad .......we got a problem.....

He says ...the truck won't start.....Im stuck....
So I tow it home.......timing chain snapped in two.........not a good sign...
Sooo after working all day...I spent fathers day doing this....

Changed the chain......no compression on 1 & 2 cyls..... uh ..ooh...
removed the head........every single valve is bent... ...nice work junior....

Thought those were supposed to be able to turn 7,500 rpm with 100k on the clock.

Maybe a supplier flaked on him so he had to use the head from his work truck and it had valve springs that were too stiff causing the chain to snap? ... or maybe he ran it with low oil pressure while he was breaking it in with fuel flowing into the oil. :idea:
