sounds nice - i put almost the same cam in the old mans jet , with the exception of 110 lobe centers -- he's running a dual 750's with sp heads and 10.5 compression -- boat has ran flawless and towed everything !

If you have 10.0 to 1 or better, use Isky 280 Mega @ 2/3 advanced. Check the piston/ valve clearance. This will give you power from, 2600, to 6800, and good vacuum all the way up. I have used this cam in a combination with 10.2 compression, single 850 carb, 180/ stealth intake, oval ports, with BIG valves. It brought over 510HP @ 6000+ RPMs, in a .030" over, 2 bolt 454. Keep it simple and you will be happy!

I'm running a custon Isky grind I got from DuaneHTP with similar specs but steeper cut ramps, and she runs strong. .565" lift, 280* duration Hydraulic, starts great, iddles acceptably, no stalling or other misbeahavior under a 700 Holley 4150 and Performer RPM Air Gap manifold. Pulls skiiers & tubes like no tomorow, and never misses a beat if you try to see just how fast you can slam the loud pedal down to the 'glass.

I think this is a little backwards on duration.......You didn't mention exhaust, but with that much overlap I hope you're dry...........MP
Intake Duration 050 inch Lift: 308
Exhaust Duration 050 inch Lift: 316
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 228 int./235 exh.
    Advertised Intake Duration: 244
    Advertised Exhaust Duration: 252

"Mr SS", is it 232 @ .050"? Is it on 108 centers? 'cause that's what works.
