It would suck to own a boat you couldn't afford to insure year round!!!
If you have a loan on a boat don't they require year round coverage? It would suck to go pick up your boat to find out the storage facility had a fire and destroyed your uninsured 150K DCB.
We still go out but the boat will sit until early april.
You have been real fiesty lately Mr Trickle...
The boat is insured, it just cant be in the water. So if it burned up it would be fully covered..
    I have a 4 month lay up....
I can afford it, by why when I do not plan on using it....

If I had a layup on my ins. that would be the day I would want to use it. I dont think my boat has set for more then 3 weeks in over 3 years.

I like to call it funny as opposed to fiesty
I actually learned something today about insurance.... sorry if you took my post as negative that wasn't my intention.(I was reffering more to the exspense of insuring a cat in general not your bank account)
I couldn't (I should say wouldn't) justify owning a boat that would cost over a grand a year to insure.
I still think the flat top and child seat jokes are funny!!!! :crossx:
