Which big block and salt or freshwater use?, none of the performer intakes are available with bronze lined water passages. At least they weren't when I looked, world products has a few that do that are a bit cheaper than mercruiser options.

I have the performer on a 454 in my Schiada. I use a 750 Holley. It runs very well.

I have been using an oval-port performer with a Q-Jet on a 1" open spacer since 1990 with good
results. Motor is a Gen IV 454, roller rockers, DUI ignition, IMCO Exhausts, etc..etc and has
about 800 hours with no problem!
I hard anodized the intake approx .0015: thick
    to prevent corrosion, etc.
