    what is the best set of heads for a 445 i have a set of k heads, also have another set from a different engine but 1 is a c and the other is a j
    does anyone know the difference between the two.

    Only thing I can recall is that the "C" head does not have hardened valve seats where I THINK the "J" does.

    Go with the K heads. The C head would be good but you only have one. Forget the J head.Make sure you go with the bigger intake valves whatever heads you use. The K and the C may have them. The J head is doubtful.

    thanks pat(slotracer) The C head is supposed to be the best available iron head out there.you can put in hardened seats for the cat pee gas we have. I have a bare set if you cant find them anywhere else

    Go to www.442.com and click on the "tech" symbol. They will give you all the casting #'s and how well they flow. On that site they said the "C" heads were known to flow the best.
