28 Skater project - at last on its way

Our Skater 28 w/twin Merc 2.5 Efi Offshores project is at last on its way back home from Dubai. Enclosed a picture. The boat has to be rerigged completly. But most important - its a Skater!

As you see from this picture the cockpit has to be redone completly with new gauge set up, dashboard configuration, backseats, trottles, etc. In addition to this the boat has to be painted. But thats all fun!

I really do not know what year, as the boat has been used in Dubai to break in engines. I did pay a very nice price, so I prepared to use some money to get it 100%. The hull is fine, but the boat has to be teared down completly and painted again.

Hi!
We got it for approx. USD 30K included taxes. Value added tax in Norway is 24%. In addition to this we have to pay "horsepower tax" of USD 25 per HP. So USD 30K is a very nice price taken this into account.
A "new" 28 Skater of USD 100.000 incl. engines is fx. equivalent to:
USD 100.000,- = NOK 700.000
HP Tax = NOK 75.000
Value Added tax = NOK 185.000
Total = NOK 960.000 = USD 140.000
So the taxes in Norway is steep....
