I just bought a Firehawk and need to know how to check if it has 1:36 gears or 1:50 gears. And i am going to put some kind of motor that will takr the boat to 100 mph soon. Will that Bravo hold up to that? Does a four blade prop work better on cats of all kind? What size props should i have to go slow for tubing and others, and what size should i get for top end and will it be a three or four blade? any factual help will be of great appreciation.

rustyk,my last boat was an 26ft american offshore same boat as yours.dont even waste your time on a three blade i tryed it just does not work.i was spining a 29p four blade on a 1;36 drive making around 800 ponies.if your motor is stock and your drive is 1:36 i would probaly go with a 24 four blade maybe have it worked to a 25 if its working good.
Does anyone have a prop to sell that will work with around 550hp four blade stainless prop. How much is a new one and where would you look to find one cheap. reply

I have a 26 pitch 4 blade stainless in perfect condition. You just need to find out if a 26 pitch will work with your h.p.
I'll sell it for $300.00. I'm running 900+ h.p. and the 26 just wasn't enough prop for my set up.
