    Not going to work.....
"All it takes is a CD changer-compatible factory stereo, a vehicle-specific cable adapter, and this iPod2car adapter box from Peripheral."
Best you can do with Eclipse is to use fm mod or an aux "aux105" RCA adaptor for their bus cable..

None of them work "great", but they all pretty much work the same. They're glitchy, real glitchy sometimes. With the Kenwood Ipod adapter, for example, every time you unplug the Ipod, you have to reset the Ipod before you plug it back in, otherwise you don't see the playlist titles. It plays and works fine, but all the playlists say "RESUMING". Reset the IPOD, plug it back in, boom, working fine. A couple of my buddies have the unit you're looking at with the Sony interface, glitchy. Even my Alpine, which is using licensed technology from Apple is glitchy. My advice is to reset the IPOD right before you plug it in every time, seems to work the best that way.
So now I have to figure out if it is worth the 200. for a finicky system.

    Which Eclipse Deck???
Some Eclipse units have an Aux. Input. you can plug into that. granted you wont have control of your ipod through the radio.
