So I read about the gambling at BlueWater, Avi and other Laughlin Casino's but never have I heard anyone say anything about the Havasu Landing Casino.
I took my MIL husband there one time to drop him off for a few hours...he came right back out and said take me with you.....smokey and not inviting.
    .
So has anyone actually spent any time in 'that' casino, done any real gambling and enjoy it???
Just curious cuz I hear about all the other casino's.

My grandmother won $200.00 there and my MIL won $60.00, they were happy. I have never been in there though, I just dropped them off.

I spend little time in there, as I'm not much of a gamber. I have two neighbors at the Landing, who are in there quite often, and seem to do well playing cards. They have told me the dealers are quite good, and management takes care of those that spend a good amount of time (and money)
I do my best to avoid any enclosed areas that allow smoking.

I've gambled over there once playing blackjack. It was fine. Sure, it's smokey but it's a casino WTF do you expect?
It's not anything in comparison to the Laughlin casinos or even the Bluewater. Usually once per year we make the drive up to Laughlin so there is no real reason to go over to Havasu Landing but if you've got the itch to gamble and don't want the 70 mile drive to Laughlin it's good enough to waste away a few hours.

Like Havasu Dreamin said, it’s good in a pinch but it’s no Laughlin by any means. I’ve played some 3 card poker there and had some fun.
I am not a smoker so the off hours are when I hit the tables. It’s a small casino, almost reminds of the old Bluewater casino in Parker (when it was in the strip mall). The Havi casino does have a great view of the lake and you can dock your boat right there however use caution; there was (at least last year) a ton of lake grass at the docks so watch the out drives.
