How do you go about making your pic a thumbnail instead of a full pic?

You have to shrink the file first. Go into a paint software or graphic software and just make it smaller.
Example: microsoft paint, open the file, go to the "image" drop down menu, select "stretch and skew", make it about 25%, save it, up load it.

I know that part but when i post it is the size that i saved it as not smaller.
some of the pics say attached image and then when you click on them they become the size that they were saved as.
