Just got my new laptop Verizon PC card 5740 that lets me use the internet from the TRAIN! How cool is that! (and work is paying the $60 mo for it)
Nothing like being on the way home from work (OC Irvine to Riverside), watching the Havasu web cams, knowing you'll be heading out there in a matter of hours!
It's not as fast as DSL, but almost...not slow like dial-up. I highly recommend this for any train laptop user.
Technology is where it's at!
