never go smaller when it comes to power. the 496 works very well in the 21' boat.

With gas prices what they are and only expected to go up I think that boat is over priced. Make a low ball offer on that boat and see what the seller says. If the seller says no move on because theres going to be someone out there who's desperate to get rid of their boat and willing to accept a low ball offer.

also remember that the 7.4 has 5 more horsepower than the 496 mag

I noticed that but at least he has the HP right for the 7.4. I guess his metric converter was bad. Also notice wire ties holding on right fender skirt. RIg is worth a look IMO. I'd be on it if it was an OB
