There were at least 200 boats in "2000"..But it was a beautiful day in the high 70s & the ground was dry.. Last year there was maybe 100 boats..There was light rain in the A.M., in the 60s & the ground was wet..The weather seems to have a lot to do with it....Don't ask me why...

Here's a CFW report I found while snooping around the local fishing boards..It's also a good bass fishin'lake..
Report: Went to this lake as it has been good to me in the past few falls. NO WATER, and I don't mean low, I mean NO WATER. It looks like a river. The manager at the check in said that it had not been this low in 11 years and the oweners were still selling water to the farmers. Perhaps the oweners can put up a marked course and have race boat tourn. and jet ski competition when it refills, since I would imagine most of the fish will be dead. Greed, I think I'm done now.

AND, I still think we should go anyway, and have a great big SHOW-N-SHINE/POTLUCK!!!! Hell, half of these prop guys do some of their best racing on the trailer anyway.
