Can anyone tell me the skinny on a pre-whirlaway device made by stellings called "algon"?
Were/are these any good, and do they perform the same way as a whirlaway? Thanks.
They will let the prop shaft release the same as a prop shaft release, they have a sprag in them. They will not let you shift into gear while running. For a lake boat they will work fine. For high HP and speed faster then 70 I would recommend a release. But I make prop shaft releases, just my .02$ If I can help let me know. j.j.
