I'll start by posting a few pics of my last boat. It is a 1986 Stephens TR2, a ski race boat built in Australia.

The engine, a 454, was out for a rebuild at the time.

    18'6" V-drive.

The driveshaft cover was off for some maintenance, seats are adjustable and reversable. Passenger side was turned around for racing and the rear seat was removed.

The license plate panel is removable, trailer had teak inserts behind the fenders.
More pics of all kinds of things to follow as I get time to scan them.

Cool pictures. I like those colors wink
So what is the story with that license plate panel. It looks like you ran over a mid 80's RS Camero and the only thing that was left was the rear tail light panel wink

The panel was held in with dzus clips and, obviously, you had to remove it to launch and retrieve. It just kinda filled in the hole in the middle. The lights are from (I think?)a Ford XD Falcon, another Australian product. This was taken in 1993, I lived there for two years.
Still on for the 8/3? I hope to venture out again this weekend - after I buy yet another breather, this one I'm blaming on the weather. It sure was hard to hang on to in that wind and with the waves coming over the back I was in a hurry to get it spun around, thats when the breather got knocked off.
One of the good things about being out in a storm is that there was no-one else out there to run into me, it seemed like I was a magnet last time out frown

Yeah, I am game for 8/3, that is if I can get my rig started. You may want to buy o'.....say 10 of those breathers and save a few trips to the parts store wink I have a feeling a few more might get knocked off.
    Keep in touch!

Coooolll,Burb. Love that trailer. It is always difficult to find a place for the license plate and you have a unique optional plate package for sure! Bet that hull turns! Jerkster
