Didn't really want to start a thread like this but UPS has messed up on the last two packages. One is still 'in transit' so the representative says and is currently being investigated. Time to fess up, it's LOST!!! It was a next day air package that should have been delivered eight days ago! They won't refund the money until the investigation is closed and then I'll have to call and get it refunded at that time. If anybody finds it, it has cashiers checks in it!! They have been cancelled of course.
Then I send some documents next day air as a customer is leaving the country for three weeks. Well, the next day air package took two days to get there. Bye bye borrower. That's going to cost me a pretty penny(and I mean pretty due to now having to use my own money to extend the rate lock, of course, UPS doesn't care about my paycheck) in cash and time as the documents will be expired by the time they get back. And they would like me to call back in a few days to get my refund as they haven't updated thier system on the delivery. I think they do that hoping that you don't call and they won't have to actually refund the money.

They lost my leg minders for my Rhino and it took 6 weeks to get a check to the guy I bought them from. He says do you want me to reship them.
Ah, no. BOHICA was cool enough to pick them up in Blythe for me on his way to the river.
Who ever thought BOHICA would be more reliable then brown?
Happens all too much with UPS. I prefer Fed Ex.

DHL seems to be another good alternative. They actually have some deal worked out with the USPS were they drop off your package at the local post office and they deliver your package.
Working for UPS when I was kid was the funniest jobs I had ever had. I worked in the Van Nuys hub sorting parcel. The belts and shoots would jam up constantly. We would have to kick the boxes loose. During Christmas, forget about it, what a nightmare. Broken boxes everywhere. Most of you know that S.F. Valley is the Porno Capitol of the World. There would be sextoys and dirty magazines everywhere in that building. Never a dull moment.
