the good ol days i live 10 min away but the enviromentlist put the races to a stop in 01 was the last race i was there

Great memories of racing at Lake Wheeler (1988 & 89). Towed all the way back there from So.Cal just because I had heard (Bob Bode was my driver at the time, K-11) it was the place to go. "Boe Ties" at the Hilton was the place to hang and meeting Jimmy Parker and Bobby Commander were just some of the highlights of these trips. Way to much fun. Sorry to see that it's no longer. :cry:
