Indoor plumbing...last year...
A used 1100 lb ice machine at my house.
I am now very popular every Sat morn as all my buddies stock up for a day on the river.

vasectomy.. I don't have to worry if she "forgot" to take her pill... if she shows up pregnant I guess she'll be out of the house by 2pm! there's my best $1,000. A distant second is gutter helmet, I've got 6 loose bark hickory trees and don't own a ladder. My Dad fell off the house in 197x and broke his back.. lucky guy had to wear a brace not a wheel chair! I keep waiting on the life insurance for the Exwife to pay off... one of these days, alice... to the moon! and the boat lift at the marina... I can run the boat in 20' deep water with out her moving. Its an excellent analytical device, don't have to back down the ramp, own a truck, worry about flat trailer tires,etc.... and the lift always works even when the boat doesn't!
Ya'll have a great day!
Self-filed divorce from first wife in 1995.. kept the house, retirement, no alimony, and split the kid costs 50-50 between us. Cost: 400 bucks total. :crossx:
NHL Center Ice package -DirecTV. Cost: 160 bucks, all hockey, all winter.
A dinner in 2000, when I first met Michelle, my wife. Somehow she tolerated my B.S. lines and I am happy as can be. Cost: 100 bucks, plus tip.. :rollside:
The $4200 I paid for my used '98 Honda Civic. Has given me almost 100K trouble free miles and gets 35mpg.
ditto on the toyota truck..1985, new $5500, 300k miles only used 1 waterpump....sold it for 1500 in '98, took 15 minutes :crossx:
$1400 for a pair of klipsch lascala speakers. there's nothing like having high quality home speakers for listening to music (truly a good investment).

I will second the vasectomy deal.
Also, I picked up a 5 x 10 utility trailer one year old for $300.
This in 1994, still with the original paint and 47,000 original miles for almost nothing compared to what it's worth today.
