This Nasa sight provides the date, time, and general location to look in to see the space station. We watched it last night go from the west up and out to the east. Amazing how fast it traveled. Kids were excited to see it.
You can enter your state, then county to get a schedule.

It's a great sight to see and when the Shuttle is approaching and then the docking, neat to see them both in formation, and yes it's pretty darn fast gotta catch it as soon as you can.
Been doing it for years now, kids love it.
I wish i saw this thread earlier,I was kicking it in my boat off of Long Beach Friday night.
Just saw it! The wife & kid loved it. We saw it last night but thought we had mistaken it for an airplane.
Just missed it will try again on monday
Just missed it too.
I think I saw it about 8:36, not 8:30 like it was scheduled on the website. Plus it only lasted maybe 3 seconds not 1 minute. Super tiny and was real low, didn't even have to tilt my head back. I think it SUCKED. Unless Im missing something. I would rather watch paint dry.

You saw all that! and even seen it pull into the dock. You must have Steve Austins bionic eye.
Didnt see the actual docking but watched as the Shuttle was playing catchup to the ISS, but having a great set of Binoc's as well as a telescope helps get you close to Col. Austin's strong sense of sight.
