i could not agree more!painting my boat this weekend! good god am i getting the bug. turbo motor is almost done going in the following weekend then should start water testing end of feb. if we can get some water

I called GT this morning to get my boat in the first of Feb. so it will be all cleaned up and dialed in for March 1st. That is warm enough for me, hell it's been warm enough for a ocean run for the past week. DAMN I HATE LAY UPS!!

Andy, did you see the guy on the news last night? I guess he was on his way to Catalina from San Pedro in his 68' yacht and fell overboard. He was rescued floating from a buoy and his boat ran aground on Catalina. Pretty crazy! :rollside:

cant come fast enough!... OR get a beanie and some sweat's and run it! Havasu was beautiful last weekend. NOBODY on the water to speak of. NOBODY at the ramps....... was awesome!

I did see that. How his boat stopped at Catalina is crazy. He was heading for Newport from Redondo or something. He is lucky his boat didn't just go past the island. They said he had maybe another two hours in him and then he would have died. The funny thing is, is his brother found him and not the coast gaurd or anybody. Makes me think about washing the deck of my boat when I am on my way to Catalina or Newport.
