Not really....atleast MOST people like to see home prices go up.
Look around and I will bet that you will find that $900 isn't out of the norm for good quality labs.

Im not familiar with the certifications...but whats AKC??
AKC=American Kennel Club. It means both parents are registered with the American Kennel Club.
$900. is about right for a lab if it is bred correctly. It looks like both parents have the proper health certs. so that price seems about right. It's very expensive to certify your dogs properly and I would never buy a dog, especially a bigger dog without both parents being properly certified.
I agree with you Notalent, save a dog from a rescue or the pound unless you have specific needs for the dog like me. Mines in training to be a Therapy dog.

Lab prices are a bit all over the map.
We have a Black Lab with FULL Pedigree and lines dating back approx 40 years and she was $475 one year ago though. No dew claw removal. This will add to the $$ although some breeders just clip them off. Ouch.
I think the yellows were like $150 more then. Popular drives price I guess.
Our last lab was a yellow from a rescue shelter.
