Making sure you bring enough for the whole class.... Good for you...
Last time I flew over,, I was spotting slot canyons to go exploring,, Lots of stuff that even we haven't seen yet...
Got some really good GPS software, great topo of the canyons, we are going to do lots of exploring this year!
Is the main channel deep enough to get past Castle Rock?
Or do we still need to go through the "narrows"?
Will it be deep enough this year to by pass the "narrows" from Wahweap?
You have to go through the narrows, they say the cut over should be open this summer
They are talking about the cut being open in July.. for the smaller boats..
the Tour Boats will still have to go around!
wish we were there with you all this weekend

I will be in a 59 foot house boat June 25th thru july 3rd.
Will it be open then?
Can you suggest good spots to stop at? Some Sand?
That will make Warm Creek more usable,, and there are some ok beaches there. I still prefer the beaches uplake,, less people and more scenic. Gunsight, Lambiryth, or Kane Canyon have great beaches at that water level. If you don't mind taking a bit of a trip,, Rock Creek is incredible at that water level.

Thank you for the tips!
Do 59 foot house boats get good mileage?
Will I need to refuel when going and camping? Do these House boats have much range?
I'll use my 24' footer and a seadoo to scoot around once I set up the House Boat / camp.
