A 427 ballancer will fit but it will be way out of ballance, 427`s are internally ballanced and a 454 is externally ballanced i have a few nice 454 Gm ballancers just shoot me an e-mail if you need one. Thanks Bruce
Glad you chimed in.....
I know the dampner is 8". Everyone has told me it's most likely external balance. I know the dampners are crank stroke specific so the 427 version won't work.
