I don't do much off roading or any at all. I have a 02 silverado with a six inch lift. I want a smooth ride and a nice looking, long lasting tire. Tire size is 305/70/16. should i go with the all terrain or mud? I have pro comp xterrain on it now. any info would help, thanks

I ran the BFG mud t/a for many years on the street and got alot of miles out of them. Very nice tires.

Mudders just wear out quicker, make more noise and can be a biatch to balance as they wear. For your app, a good AT should work real well...

Love my bfg's 315/70/17 call Tucker Tire in Laguna Niguel, best prices anywhere. Ask for Troy or Brad, or John. BTW arent 33" a little small for a six inch lift? just curious. Good luck

i have a lifted 02 silverado. i have owned both sets of tires. please take everyones advice, buy the all terrains! my mudders were rough sidewalls too thick for general use and got pretty noisy. my last two sets off all terrains are awesome. they last a long time to. great all around tires the best. i am curently using 285/75/16 bfg all terrain tires.

Got the same on my Excursion; 72k with only a couple of balances and rotations - Great Tires! (I'll give'em another couple of months before I replace)

That's my exact setup, down to the Moto Metal rims.
    Looks good.
