I dug around this morning and found my Carter book....And got a quick education on the AFB vs AVS models.........The 9635 SA is a 625 cfm AFB, which should do wonders for my fuel economy replacing a Holley 750.....BTW the difference between the AFB and AVS is the secondary control. The AVS has a spring loaded secondary butterfly at the top, and the AFB has the counter weighted butterfly lower in the casting. There are a few other minor differences, but the AVS calls out "Air Valve Secondaries"............Thanks again for the link...........MP
