Thread: I think I Fupped Duck!!

When I bought my boat, the previous owner had a steel drain plug in the bilge drain in the jet housing. (Jacuzzi 12-WJ) It sat for about 8 years, so needless to say it was fused into the aluminum.
So I drilled it out using a 1 inch hole saw, the size of a standard rubber bilge plug. (or so it seems)
Well, the hole is about 1/16 inch too big, and no way a standard plug will seat and stay in.
Now, I've got some ideas how to repair it, without welding in an insert and re-drilling, but I thought I'd see if anyone has had a similar situation, before I go about re-inventing the wheel.

Alan, you could try a plumbing supply store. (not any in Parker) I have seen
rubber expandable plugs, like drain plugs for plumbing repairs. Maybe Craig
    plumbing in Havasu.
