Exhaust gaskets? Which side faces block?

Hi Guys,
I have som Fel-Pro exhaust gaskets and on one side is regular black gasket material and the other side is silver. I can't remember which side faces the block? Thanks...Lumpy

Are these the gaskets that one side is fiber and the other is steel? If so, install the steel side toward the manifold and the fiber side toward the engine block. This allows the exhaust manifold to slide along the steel surface during expansion and contraction without damaging the gasket.
