1993 Johnson V8-----Have VRO ???

David at Liberator Boats in Crowley Tx told me this engine would be fine, but I need to remove the "VRO" feature and just mix the oil and gas myself. Has anyone ever removed a VRO system and what all do I need to accomplish this task?

Just follow your oil line to the engine, block it off and mix...........( . )( . ).......... :idea:

Yep what he said. If the pump works take it off and sell it. They're expensive. Note motor will smoke more and load up easier. Avoid long ideling. Use a quality tcw 3 oil and have fun.
