well the "formal living room" is going to be the entertainment room at my house... dont feel like buying couches that I'll never sit on. there's two options I can go with.... A) pool table and chairs with pub tables.... or B) a bar with stools.. punb tables.. lounge chairs.. and maybe a foozeball (sp?) table. just looking for some feedback on what you guys think would be a better setup / provide the best times?

We have a smalllish sized fooseball table and its good fun too. I was always hoping to get some vintage arcade games. I heard they had one at Costco with a bunch of games in it for like $1800.....

measure the room to make sure it's big enough though. Take the measurements that you'll get online and add an extra foot or so to make sure you have room to stroke the cues off the end rails.

By the way, get a nice playing table setup by a good table mechanic. It doesn't have to be the most expensive table in the world to be commercial grade and setup nice. Lighting is also important. Don't buy a bangers table, you'll regret it in the long run if you plan on playing alot and or taking the game seriously later.
