Put in a .690 thrust bearing and i'm showing .051 of thrust play, anybody know if anybody makes a thrust bearing thats closer to the .730 size? Summit has a .795 but i'd rather not remove that much material from my cover or the bearing.

You're going to have ot custom tailor this deal...that's just part of the game. Removing .020-.030 from the cover is no big deal...just machine enough off the bearing nose to get zero clearance, and then grind enough off the cover a little at a time to fine tune.
The other option is to find a #10 steel washer that's .045 thick, and put it between one of the hardned washers and the body of the thrust bearing. Those washers are usually .050-.060 thick, but I've ground them down before to get what I need. The little snap ring isn't going to fit any more, but that won't be an issue once you get everything assembled. For clearance, no less than .005, no more than .010...I usually shoot for .005-.007.
